Katie Cook
Katie began her career in the beauty industry 27 years ago when she worked as account manager for Clarins and Lancome in House of Fraser. She specialises in sin & facial treatments such as chemical peels and is a Jan Marini skincare specialist.
Meet Katie,
With an extensive knowledge of skincare, Katie was keen to further her development and qualified in level 1, 2, 3 and 4 in beauty therapy and anatomy and physiology, prior to joining The Attic Spa when it opened its doors in 2011. Katie was very proactive in securing the luxury brand GUAM (who’s flagship is urban retreat in Harrods, London) to The Attic’s treatment menu, and successfully completed an extensive training programme in their facial and body wrap treatments early in 2011.
Skin is most definitely Kate’s passion and since joining The Attic Spa, she has completed her foundation and advanced courses in Jan Marini skincare, including facial treatments and chemical peeling, qualifying as a Jan Marini skincare specialist.
In 2015 Katie qualified in Endymed Radio Frequency skin tightening/resurfacing and EDS medical needling, and more recently the amazing Hydrafacial.
Along with everyday beauty therapy, Kate prides herself on a fabulous pedicure, shellac nails and both Swedish and Lava Shell Massage. A lively character with a big personality and sense of humour, a treatment with kate is always well worth the visit!
